International Happiness at Work Week – Day 3

We recently had our Celebration of Staff party (aka the best day of the year😎)! We came together and had a great day hiking, playing cornhole🕳️and volleyball. 🏐But that wasn’t the only thing on the agenda – we had delicious🥪food and drinks, enjoyed the sunshine🌤️and best of all we got to switch off for the afternoon. This is just one of the many ways we like to celebrate our amazing employees.

🌟HAPPINESS🌟 is at the heart 🫶 of everything we’re doing at BCA. Our employee handbook 📕 is a great example of this. We update our handbook regularly with significant input from our employees. The handbook is readily available to our employees on the “HIVE”. 🐝 The HIVE, powered by Knowledge Architecture’s Synthesis, is central to the BCA experience and serves all of our employees as the single source of information that brings us together. 🤗

It’s International Happiness at Work Week! 💻😀 So, we’re sharing what makes us happy all week! Part of our happiness at work offering is to make sure we’ve got our employees covered throughout the year for moments that matter… Let’s 🐝 real – taking time off can feel difficult especially in an AE firm when it can feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day. ⌚ But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t allow yourself to take a breather, or two, or 25, with: ✈️🌴Vacation: We offer up to 32 days of Paid Time Off 🌟🥰Wellbeing: We offer 7 sick days for BCA employees to get well, recharge, or care for family. 🎇🎄Holidays: We offer 9 paid holidays.

Alexandria Bay CSD – Ribbon Cutting

Cutting the ribbon on the new ‘Bud Bulger Gymnasium’ at Alexandria Central School was a heartwarming celebration filled with community spirit, surrounded by Bud’s friends and family who came together to show support and appreciation for this incredible facility. Grateful for the legacy of Bud Bulger and the unity that makes our community strong! 🎀🏀

Erin Becker Named Chief of Staff

👏🏼 Erin Becker becomes our new Chief of Staff! BCA continues its tradition with another internal promotion to the executive team. 2023 is a special year for BCA. We started the year with four offices and have since opened offices in Binghamton and Troy with a strong bridge across New York State. We initiated a shadow board that has strengthened our ecosystem, resulted in significant career progression (among many other things), and fostered a more collaborative community. We would not have been able to invest in expanding our reach without an incredible team behind us. This is why today is a significant milestone in the BCA journey as we promote Erin Becker to Chief of Staff. Erin joined BCA in 2020, quickly establishing herself for her work ethic, analytical skills, relationship building and goal seeking mentality. Erin has always challenged us to be our best, moving the firm forward with an eye on growth. ⭐️ We are eager to continue to learn, laugh, and innovate with Erin – and we are looking forward to the places we will go with Erin in this critical leadership role.

New Offices!

We are excited to announce the opening of two new office locations in Troy, NY and Binghamton, NY. These new offices will allow us to better serve our clients in the upstate New York region and expand our reach in the state. Our Troy office is located in the heart of downtown and will offer a convenient location for our clients in the Capital Region. Our Binghamton office is situated in a growing business district and will provide easy access for clients in the Southern Tier. Both offices will feature modern workspaces and technology to support our team and clients. As we join this new chapter in our company’s growth, we look forward to recruiting new talent, retaining our talented team and serving our clients in these regions.
