seeks qualified candidates for the position of
Specification Writer. Duties include: building products
research and compiling, writing and editing
specifications to support architectural / engineering
designs for educational, institutional and municipal
building projects in New York State.
Applicants,
at a minimum, must have a two-year architectural or
engineering technology degree, advanced degrees a plus.
Five years minimum experience working in the engineering
or architectural field preferred. Knowledge of BSD
SpecLink+ program required. CSI certification and a
solid education in current NYS Fire Prevention and
Building Code also a plus.
